Some Monday motivation from a man named Moses.
Moses and God had a very dynamic relationship. God spoke to Moses and Moses spoke back to God, many times very boldly.
One day Moses straight up said “Now, show me your glory.” (Exodus 33)
Um, bossy much?
What was God’s response? What would God say to this mere human he had created?
See for yourself:
“I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you.” (Exodus 33:19)
Wasn’t expecting that.
I don’t know about you but I want to see God and all his glory and goodness too!
Is it really that simple?
Yes. It absolutely is.
As we begin our week what if we take a page out of Moses’ book and simply ask God?
God, show me your glory and your goodness this week. I want to see you.
If we want to see him, if we look for him, we will see him and all his goodness.
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13
